Destinyfest is the production company for live comedy shows, special events, videos, and this website.
Barry McLaughlin,
the creator of MDF, started out doing one-man-shows as Barry Holiday,
after a show for the Bicycling Mariachis was almost cancelled. It
was a sort of Vegasy revue that was met with the kind of praise
usually reserved for Popes and handicapped kids. The character of
Barry Holiday then became the building block for the inital MDF
shows, and then came other performers, characters, music, and sketches.
The cast and crew of Manifest Destinyfest is always changing, although
many members have been around for quite some time.
This website is what will take the God-given rights of “Manifest
Destinyfest” to the next level, and the next level after that
will hopefully involve space travel or cloning or something really
